Trick of the Tale

The book Trick of the Tale was published by Templar in 2008. This is a collection of trickster tales from around the world with detailed and narrative illustrations of the Animal Kingdom. Illustrations were made with ink line drawing and acrylic colour on some border details.

Hogwarts library

Hogwarts Library Books published by Bloomsbury in 2017. includes Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Quidditch through the ages and The Tales of Beedle the Bard with his black and white line ink illustrations. Covers for these three books were made by Jonny Duddle. He was one of seven illustrators who worked on The Harry Potter Wizarding Almanac published by Bloomsbury in 2023. The illustrations for this book were all made digitally.

Orange Fairy Book

The Folio Society published the classic Orange Fairy Book in 2013. In this book you can find his thirteen full-colour plates, the binding design, numerous black and white illustrations and the endpapers for the final title in the Rainbow Fairy Book series. Illustrations in this book are ink drawings sometimes coloured with ink washes and acrylic.

Dragon Ark

A large-format fantasy book inviting the reader to join the quest to save the rarest dragon on Earth. The Dragon Ark is a sanctuary for any dragon needing help and a vessel of research and discovery. This book was published by Magic Cat in 2020. It is a large collection of dragon ink illustrations digitally coloured.

Alex Bell books

Illustrated fantasy adventure books in the series by Alex Bell published by Faber and Faber. The series starts with The Polar Bear Explorer’s Club in 2017 and ends with Explorers at Stardust City in 2022. These books are filled with all kinds of magical creatures and items so it was easy to find interesting scenes to illustrate. The illustrations inside the books are ink drawings enriched with an additional, digitally applied layer of various shadow values.
